Good Samaritan Saves Deputy, Kills Attacker
A Good Samaritan concealed carry holder came upon a scene he couldn't believe. A high-speed chase, with speeds reaching 120 miles per hour, had ended on a highway off-ramp, with the suspect pulling the deputy from his patrol car and beating him on the side of the road. The good Samaritan pulled his firearm and ordered the suspect to stop several times. According to a news report from the NBC affiliate in Ft Myers, Florida, the deputy yelled repeatedly for the CCW holder to shoot his assailant. The ermit holder fired three shots, fatally wounding the attacker.
